In the dome

RCA DomeDrew Brees will start his fourth career game in a dome this Sunday when the Bolts visit the RCA Dome. It will be the Chargers only game inside of a dome this season.

Last year, the Bolts played two games in domed stadiums and Brees played well. Against Atlanta at the Georgia Dome and the Colts at the RCA Dome, he went 44 of 62 (.710) for 517 yards with four touchdowns and just two interceptions. He was 21 of 31 (.677) for 290 yards with three touchdowns and one pick in last year’s game against the Colts.

Brees the former Purdue Boilermaker returning to his adopted home state to play at the RCA Dome for the second time since turning pro will try to do something no team has done this season, claim victory over the Colts.

Brees closes in on career high

Last week against Miami, Brees passed for 279 yards to raise his season total to 3,092. It marked his third-career 3,000-yard season and left him just 192 yards shy of his career high of 3,284 yards, set in 2002.

Brees is on pace to end the year with more than 3,800 yards. If he does so, he would become only the second quarterback in team history to pass for more than 3,500 yards, joining Dan Fouts, who did it five times during his Hall of Fame career.

Brees in 300-yard games

Brees has thrown for more than 300 yards in a game twice this season and seven times in his career during the regular season. The Chargers are 2-0 this year and 5-2 overall in games when he surpasses the 300-yard marker.

If we can keep the Colts offense in check we have a shot at winning.

That is what 13 others have tried. Did not work did it? Sorry, Colts are a class act. They are going to Detroit and the Bolts are going to be cheering for them in CA! I live in IN and am a Bolts fan, but lets be honest, this year belongs to Indy!

Look,The chargers can beat the colts. That has nothing to do with the colts going to the superbowl, or the 13 previous teams that have failed. It's one game.pressure manning, bust him in the lip be in his face constantly. we did it last year when we played them at the rca dome. Problem was we only did it for 56 minutes,,,, then went into prevent defense, and the result was ,we lost a close one.We clearly outplayed the colts for 56 minutes. It's the same offense as last year. the chargers can score with anyone in the league.

No, The Super Bowl belongs to the Chargers. I disagree with the Indy home fan, Alot of Charger fans have hosted Broncos, Green Bay, and etc. This year belongs to the Bolts and Indy needs a loss badly. Stan Humprey's was the one who did it last time so I think, The Drew Crew can do it this year.

P.S. For all Indy fans, I hope your team gets burned and zapped by the Bolts.

P.P.S. I have several Vodoo dolls waiting to send Indy down a notch.

We left Indy last year with some unfinished business. This year we will finish that business. The Chargers have nothing to lose and should play that way. We need to take risks and play to win. Marty please, "LET THE KIDS PLAY"

GO BOLTS!!!

I AM CHARGER FAN IN ERIE,PA.
ALSO EX COLTS FAN ONCE THE IRSAYS "MAYFLOWERED" THEM. HOW ABOUT A NICE CHRISTMAS PRESENT FOR THE IRSAYS? 13-1. GO BOLTS!!

unfinished business is right. every starter on the chargers remembers the loss in indy. exceptions of jue, merimian, castillo we want this one badly. and we know how to confuse manning, if u seen the nfl game of the week. on nfl network, u heard wade phillips tell our DB's "great job on evrything, he doesnt really know whats going on." referring to manning, and the chargers DEFENSE. so i belive that all the PERFECT season talk will end this week. and hey they will probably drop week 16 vs seattle. denver with ELWAY, Terell DAVIS. went 13-0 only to lose game 14 i belive that denver bronco 1998 team was better then the 2005 colts, and i also belive there is not only better teams in the nfl as a whole in 2005, then 1998, so when the colts play bengales, chargers seattle, then something has to give! and it will be this week! sorry indy your time has come. but dont worry you dont have to go to cincy or NE or pittspuke this year! because the NFL gave manning and the colts the EASIEST scedule in the NFL this year. isisnt it funny how the best team in the nfl (the colts) the league gave them the easiest scedule in the the nfl. doesnt it seem like the nfl set it up this year for manning to take it all... well i will tell u one thing. if he wont do it, edge is getting older he wants big contract, try to bring in another RB by the time he starts producing like edge does now manning will be done, his window is closing, he needs to do it this year, and the nfl knows it! dont belive me? look at the colts 2005 regular season scedule.

hola! soy un fan de los chargers tengo 22 años de ser fan y creo que vamos entrar a los playoffs solo necesitamos ejecutar el `plan de juego.

saludos desde Guanajuato,gto.Mexico

The chargers need to control the clock like last week. The O-line has to step up with Oben hurt. 3rd down and 3 sounds like it could keep Brees from having to throw so much and Jam these receivers. Play over the top because exposing zone defences are Colts
specialty and they love 12 yards from a quick slant. Ready Break!!!!!
Blue 42, Lights out crew.

The Chargers need to stop the colts. there is too many band waggon jumpers for the colts.

56 is coming
"lights out manning."

I live in Paoli, Indiana. I attended Purdue when Drew was the quarterback. I love the Chargers and I will be attending the game on Sunday wearing my Brees' jersey proudly. I will be harassed like I was last year but I don't care. We almost beat them last year and I hope we accomplish it on Sunday.
Go Bolts!!
