One tough division
Talk about a highly competitive division. In the last four years, since the 2002 re-alignment, four different teams have won the AFC West.
2005 Denver Broncos
2004 San Diego Chargers
2003 Kansas City Chiefs
2002 Oakland Raiders
I’m not sure if seven consecutive time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong could win back to back titles in the AFC West. This is one tough division.

The AFC West is by far the best division in the NFL. I say to my brother every year that we beat each other up so another team can enjoy a Super Bowl win.

The chargers our gonna take it away for the next millenia

Hopefully the chargers can score big time in the draft. We should work on the secondary and come back and win the division next season.

Next season is the year for the Chargers to strike. The way things are in the NFL, it is hard to keep a solid team together, what with free agency, salary caps, and such.

Before the draft, before free agent talk...I really think we need a coaching change. We need to say goodbye to Marty & Cam and make Wade our Head Coach.

I agree with Dan. We have to find a way to take care of business next year. Times a fleeting!!!!!!

En el 2006 los Chargers van a ser campeones de su division y estoy de acuerdo en que deben cambiar a Marty ya que por su malas decisiones el perdio 5 de los 7 juegos que perdieron.

The Chargers need to make some moves if they want to compete in the AFC West next season. We need better cornerbacks, and we need to sign and trade Brees. This year, Brees really didn't do much. He threw interceptions in crucial times and in some of those games we lost and others we were lucky to win. Check the stats folks. Brees has to go.

Keep Marty. How quickly everyone forgets what losers the Chargers were before him. Get rid of Cameron. Let him go pass-happy in Houston. Marty's a proven winner, Wade's a great defensive coach but so is Marty. Bring in someone who remembers to get LT the ball in the 4th quarter. We did that in Washington and look what happened. Stop passing the ball with the lead in the 4th. Spend the money on an o-line and keep the team in tact and we're golden. The D is going to be huge next year, we have the skill players, all we need is a good o-line and some production out of vincent jackson and let's cram the ball down the throats of teams in the 4th quarter. I was pissed about the 4th quarter play calling most of the year. Get rid of Cam and fix the o-line!

I like what Laker's coach Phil Jackson said = "winners win close games and losers lose close games. Hope The Chargers apply this in 06

Keep Drew Brees, he is a proven leader and he knows the offense. Keep Marty. Trades for secondary positions are crucial. And a great safety with size and speed! Keep Michael Turner. And hopefully we don't lose Wade Phillips to Green Bay.

All you people that keep bashing Brees... Think about what you are saying about a ProBowl QB. He isn't the best QB in the league but see if you can name 5 that are better... then stop and think if any of them are availbe and stop whinning.
Also, don't forget that LT absolutely LOVES Brees and its never good to piss off the best player in the NFL.
