Big, big gamble with the first two picks, after the 05 draft class im am pretty dissapointed, because of the health concerns with cromartie and mcneill, lets hope AJ Smiths picks dont blow up in CHARGERS FANS FACES, and a kicker, come on that was the biggest mistake of all the picks, lef me scratching my head as the draft ended.

I like the pickup of the kicker. We were lacking on kickoffs all year last year. I know it would be a luxary to carry 3 kickers but if this guy is as good on kickoffs as they say then we are really set in All phases of the kicking game

they gambled last year as well, on a DE that was really a fast linebacker, and a DE that had a drug issue.
I trust AJ's judgement in these matters.

whats the matter mr joel price? am i doing something wrong with my comments or are you not allowed to post anything negative about aj smith and what he is doing to this team. im a loyal fan, but very realistic, i tell it like it is

Excellent Draft AJ. We got two picks who could have easily gone higher than they did. Everyone says the picks were a gamble, as far as I know none of these guys have played in the league before so they are all a gamble. Mario Williams #1? We have two impact players who will start next year and offer major upside. The linebacker will be great in special teams and has a bright future to start someday. Manu was an excellent trade you were not going to get his value in the fourth. We beefed up red zone blocking got a playmaker in the seconday, and got a kicker who could impact field position every week. Good Job AJ!
