McNeill named Offensive Rookie of the Month

After practice the team announced to the media that tackle Marcus McNeill will be named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Month. It’s expected that the league will make the announcement on Thursday.

McNeill was San Diego's second-round pick in the 2006 Draft. The Chargers used the 50th overall pick on McNeill, a 6-foot-7, 336-pounder considered one of the most dominant drive blockers in the college game.
