Bills will try to slow LT

’Cause it’s nearly impossible to stop LaDaunian Tomlinson completely. The Chargers running back is on pace to break the NFL season TD record of 28. He has 24 with five games to go. Twenty-one of those scores have come in the Chargers’ last seven games. And he has a career-best five 100-yard rush games in a row.

Whatever game plan Buffalo defensive coordinator Perry Fewell develops, it’s up to the players, says Bills deffensive tackle Larry Tripplett, to follow it closely. “It’s us having faith in the scheme and being where we’re supposed to be,” Tripplett says. “The scheme is going to make plays for us.”

Aside from the “LT” show, the spotlight also will be on the first meeting of two 2004 first-round quarterbacks who rank in the top 10 in NFL completion percentage. San Diego’s Philip Rivers has completed 65.0 percent of his passes (ranked fourth) and Buffalo’s J.P. Losman (No. 22 in ’04) has connected on 63.8 percent (ranked eighth).

The Bills who played the Chargers twice a year in the early days of the AFL will wear their ’60s uniforms.

I hate to say it, but we're going down. Lights out isn't ready and LT is wearing down. Personally, I just don't think we can beat the Bill's at home. Prediction: Bills 27-21

I disagree that LT is slowing down. Raiders defended well against the run and we sorely missed Kris Dielman. However I agree that the Bolts will have to fight for this game. I think it is an important one to win to give them a cushion as Denver and KC will come to SD to play.
