We have a winner

With nine wins this season as a starter, Philip Rivers is assured of his seventh-straight winning season as a starting quarterback, dating back to his junior season at Athens High School. Since becoming a starting QB in 1998, Rivers has never had a losing record, going 11-2 (1998) and 10-3 (1999) at Athens and then going 8-4 (2000), 7-5 (2001), 11-3 (2002) and 8-5 (2003) at North Carolina State. Rivers’ record for the Wolfpack included an impressive 3-1 mark in postseason bowl games.
