Team awards
Each year, at the end of the regular season, the players vote who was the Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Special Teams Player of the Year and Most Inspirational Player Award.
The team announced the awards on Thursday:
Chargers’ Most Valuable Player
LaDainian Tomlinson
Offensive Player of the Year
Philip Rivers
Defensive Player of the Year
Shawne “Lights Out” Merriman
Co-Lineman of the Year
Jamal Williams, Kris Dielman, and Marcus McNeil
Special Teams Player of the Year
Kassim Osgood
Most Inspirational Player Award.
Randall Godfrey

ladainian tomlinson, is humble, he always includes and gives credit to his team and coaches, he has a good heart i see it in his eyes and smile and because he his such a good person God will continue to bless him not only is he the mvp for nfl he should be a role model for other players on how a man/athlete should carry themselves on and off of the field
