The teams of the NFC West fly the furthest, at 113,620 total miles. The AFC West will travel the second-most miles at 89,565, and the AFC North the third-most - 60,914. The NFC East travels the least at 53,571 miles. Teams this season will cover more ground than last year, as 2006’s mileage was 541,780.
