Chargers release Chambers
The San Diego Chargers released wide receiver Chris Chambers today.
"There are a number of things that went into the decision," Head Coach Norv Turner said. "The reason we’re able to do this is the play of Malcom and the way Legedu Naanee is performing. Certainly there are a number of other things in terms of our football team that we need to address. Defensively and in the kicking game… we need to get some help."Posted via email from Chargers Media

why would u want to realease a person like chris chambers? he was a good reciever and besides u have up a 2nd round pick for him. i think that it is a dumb move by the chargers to do this. I think even though they have 2 recievers emerging they still need a veteran leader to lead them and help them become better

Chambers has dropped balls and never seems to be very open. Why not go get Derrick brooks for middle linebacker. He’s a future Hall of Famer and can tackle. That’s what we need.
