Philip Rivers and the quarterbacks spent the first portion of practice flinging short throws to the young WRs.

Seyi Ajirotutu took an unofficial lead in camp receptions, spearing several near the right sideline Tuesday.
WR Bryan Walters secures a catch of his own in front of LB Brandon Lang.
RB Curtis Brinkley tries to recover a bobbled ball during 11-on-11s.
WR Richard Goodman donned an unnumbered defensive jersey and broke up this pass intended for Williams, drawing raves and laughs from the defensive coaches. “Don’t pick on our best DB,” one of them joked.
Shawnbrey McNeal continues to enjoy reps in the absence of other backs. He said he retained everything he learned in OTAs by reviewing his notes.
