Pregame Photos: Broncos at Chargers

Posted by Christopher Smith on November 27, 2011 – 2:00 PM

Photos from Qualcomm Stadium courtesy of Mike Nowak.

It's a postcard kind of late-November afternoon at Qualcomm Stadium, where the Chargers and Broncos are jostling for positioning in the AFC West behind Oakland.

RB Ryan Mathews (knee) was limited a bit during the week but has 245 career rushing yards against Denver in two games, including a career-high 125 in a 29-24 win at Sports Authority Field on Oct. 9.

K Nick Novak, warming up before the game, made five field goals, including one from 51 yards, against Denver on Oct. 9.

WR Malcom Floyd (inactive) did warm up on the field before the game and appears to be making progress.

DT Antonio Garay is a vital defensive piece against the run. He’ll need to play well today against Denver, which is running the ball at an elite level.

Stay true and keep pounding,
Christopher

Well Mr. Spanos? Is this the leadership you really want for your team? 6 straight losses. Time to clean house. Cut the cancer before it spreads to the players. AJ and Norv must go!!!!!!!!!!

Just a foot note. if players keep getting hurt, maybe the conditioning coach should be look at as well.
