Pregame Photos: Chargers at Raiders

Posted by Christopher Smith on January 1, 2012 – 1:46 PM

Here are some pregame photos from O.co Coliseum courtesy of Mike Nowak.

WR Malcom Floyd gets eye black fitted before Sunday's game. Floyd has 13 catches for 285 yards in his last two games against Oakland.

RB Mike Tolbert will start for San Diego as Ryan Mathews (calf) is inactive.

Head Coach Norv Turner speaks with Oakland coach Hue Jackson on the field.

C Nick Hardwick gets ready to play the final game of the 2011 season on New Year's Day.

P Mike Scifres and special teams coach Rich Bisaccia prepare to face the Raiders, which blocked two Scifres punts during the last San Diego-Oakland meeting in this facility.

Several San Diego players huddle in the cramped halls at O.co Coliseum, prepared to take the field.

A cool shot of the coaches' headsets waiting for them on the Chargers bench.

Stay true and keep pounding,
Christophper

thanks for the pictures! i especially love the one where they are praying! my bolts may not have made the playoffs, but it’s nice that they took that away from the raiders! my new years started AMAZING thanks to the chargers! you guys will always be my team! (; & lets shake off what happened this season. it’s done & over with. lets focus on next season! i sense a superbowl if we keep all the players from this year to next season! i personally like norv and a.j. but serious changes really need to be made, but i believe in all of you that you will do what’s best for the team and all the fans! :D

DEAN SPANOS…if you’re reading this please keep the way things are this year for next season! keep norv and a.j. just for another season & please sign all the players we have right now that are showing talent on the field! don’t let them go! i believe this team can win a super bowl! they are not just team mates…they are FAMILY! (; this team can make it! & don’t worry about the fans at the moment. i know it must be hard for economic issues, but TRUE fans will follow the chargers no matter what happens! ♥

So it’s cheaper to keep them (AJ and Norv) LOL!!!!!! Nothing will change. You fired Marty for these two clowns. There are a lot of fans who will not pay to see them play until those two clowns leave. Why pay to see them lose when you can see them lose for free on tv.

Dear Mr. Spinless Spanos, keep Heckle and Jeckle and your empty seats too. You will see how your fans react to your decision.

More balockout games and more empty seats.
