Rivers spreads the ball

Posted by Nicoletta Ruhl on September 10, 2012 – 11:35 PM

Tonight Philip Rivers showed us what he is famous for, spreading the ball and hitting seven different receivers down field. Malcom Floyd topped the reception list with four catches for 66 yards. Rivers kept the ball moving downfield which also helped set up Kaeding for a perfect night thru the uprights.

Tell us your thoughts on the Chargers receiving core debut …..

It was good to see him spread the ball around, and he will only get better throughout the season but, the running game needs to kick into place, to keep the defense thinking, so he can get more balls to the receiving core deeper down field. Disappointed in the running game this game, hopefully they will move the ball better in the games to come.
