2-0!

Posted by Kendall Reyes on September 19, 2012 – 5:17 PM

We’re 2-0 and it feels amazing!  We’ve been playing pretty well and the team’s has come a long way, so we want to keep stacking these wins up.  Wins are hard to get in this league, so right now our focus is on the Falcons. We’ve got a big test this week with

Atlanta so we have to be real sharp, especially on defense.  But it feels real good to get the two wins under our belt.  After the game I like to relax by hanging out with the family and friends who came to see me play.  It’s a great way to wind down and relax the mind.

I’m a pretty hard critic when it comes to my own game, but I think I’ve done alright to start the season.  I know I have a lot to work on, but I feel like I’m taking steps in the right direction.  If I continue to work and continue to get better, then everything should work out.

Monday after the game we came in here and had our meetings to get ready for Week 3.  I had some soft tissue work done to help me feel fresh. This week I’m really focusing on being aggressive and attacking the Falcons offense. I want to play within myself and do what I have to do, and as long as we as a team do what we have to, I think we’ll be alright.

Yesterday, some of us headed down to Payless for a community event to help kids get shoes. That was really cool and I appreciated having the chance to help out in the community. These kids are just so excited to see us, and sometimes we don’t realize how big of an impact we have on kids.  So to spend a couple hours of our day with them, it means a lot to them and a lot to us as well.

I want to give a shout-out to my UConn Huskies.  We’re 2-1 on the year and playing real good ball. The one loss was a real close one to NC State – which of course is Philip Rivers’ team! But he was real cool and classy about it and didn’t rub it in.  That’s actually one of the cooler things about being in the NFL is that every week, it seems that your alma mater is playing against someone else’s.  So that’s a lot of fun.

Before I sign off I want to think everyone who came out to the game on Sunday.  It was great to have your support, and I can’t wait to see how loud the Q gets this week.

Till next time,

Kendall

Dude. thank you so much for being a solid player, and spending time in the community. The world, and the NFL, needs more true men just like you. With that said, the long time Bolts fans really appreciate what you have brought to our beloved team. Stay hungry my brother, and get nasty against Atlanta Sunday. You are a huge part of the success we have enjoyed thus far, and I am confident that you will continue to get better and better.

    Kendall Kendall Kendall..
Dude after watching you tear up some of those o-lines in the pre season, I knew we were in store for a good young D-Lineman of the Future.. Shoot J. Cesaire even said it ! (UT San Diego Newspaper)

Yea some of my friends and ofcourse the critics were all saying the same thing, ”it’s the pre season. those are the back up o-lineman.. blah blah blah” .. But I knew that still doesnt take away the fact that you were aggressive and hurrying the quaterback. And not to mention closing up those gaps in the run game. very important.
But it’s a long season my man, keep up the great work and the best of luck to you… Im a huge fan already!!

I can’t believe another BLACKED OUT GAME. 2-0 and I can’t watch my team in Orange County becuase San Diego residents won’t support the team and go to the game. BUILD A STADIUM IN OCEANSIDE. Then Orange County will fill the seats!!!!
