Even though we lost on Sunday, I’m feeling good about this season. Personally, I’m more comfortable with what’s going on and feel like I am up to speed. The game is slowing down for me and I’m focusing on being very sound technically. I really think I’ve gotten a lot better at coming off the ball, striking guys and handling blocks.
Right now my mind is solely on this game in KC. We’ve got to win this game. We have 16 one-game seasons, so we are taking each game at a time. But I have to admit, I get more amped up playing a division game on the road. These guys are one of our rivals and we need to get through them to get to the playoffs and hopefully win a Super Bowl. That definitely riles me up and makes me want to go play as hard as possible.
When I’m not playing football, my favorite spot to hit up is the zoo. I’ve been about seven or eight times. You’d think I’d get tired of it but I don’t! I love checking out all the types of bears and lions. I always take the VIP line and go feed the animals and everything.
If you guys need a good place to eat, you have to check out Stockdales out by San Diego State University. It’s this soul food restaurant that is my favorite in the city. Their food is amazing. I usually order the fried chicken, mac and cheese and collard greens.
Well that about does it. Hope you’ve enjoyed getting to know a little bit more about me. Keep the faith in us and we’ll do our best to reward you.

Corey, i’ve seen yor vast improvement and I’ve been following you since Illinois. You are making that defensive line solid keep playing hard nose and you and Reyes will be a dominant force in San Diego for years.

hey corey, as a player you just try to improve everyday and i see from year one to two.. its safe to say your definately handling that!! thanks for dropping 20 lbs too, your getting off the ball awfully fast this year.. although people rank sacks alot, i have to say you take those double teams and split them without much effort and i hope the Defense stays as aggressive as it has been these last couple weeks!! you butler and weddle are stepping up every week as leaders and its exciting for all of SD.. I pray the playoffs come this year.. cant wait! thanks corey =)

Corey keep at it. I will admit to not being to impressed lt year. But I did hold out hope bc you were “young” even for a rookies standards. This year, you look like a diferent player. I have seen you hustle plays down from behind…you look FAST! Always remember…better to be the hammer than the nail! Good Luck Sir!
