Wright Could Return This Week

Shareece Wright was injured in the opening minutes of Week 1’s game against the Oakland Raiders and has been out ever since with a sprained ankle.  But according to Norv Turner, Wright is on the precipice of returning and could play again as soon as this week to aid a struggling secondary. 

This is what the head coach had to say:

“I’m hoping Shareece can practice this week.  He’s made strides in his physical improvement and I’m hopeful he can play.  If he comes back for practice, we’ll evaluate and see how he does and he may be able to play on Monday night. We won’t rush him though, and the bye is the next week.  But if he practices and is able to go, we’ll have him out there.”
