An Update from Nate Kaeding

Posted by Ricky Henne on October 17, 2012 – 2:20 PM

Nate Kaeding has been sidelined with a right groin strain since Week 3 when he felt it act up just prior to the team’s match in Kansas City. On Wednesday, the kicker updated us on his progress, which he says has improved greatly over the last few days.

Here’s what he had to say:

“I’m definitely feeling better here in the last week or so. I didn’t go full today.  I’m still kind of working my way up to that.  We’re taking it easy with the bye coming up. We’re using that to our advantage a bit.  I’m not quite there yet, but in a week or so I think I’ll be where I need to be. The bye week’s coming at a good time, and I’m hopeful that I’ll be able to get back into full swing here when we get back.”

I saw the left tackle get hurt. He was not replaced in our first of two loses. I see our right tackle ineffective in our last loss. Our coaching staff is not making changes to correct these errors. At least next time put in a rookie if you have to correct these errors people at right and left tackle are making. Coaches are showing their inexperience by allowing players to cause huge turnover by them not being able to perform their jobs. Hello! It is not rocket science. Or maybe it is for coaches on the Chargers Offensive Team.

    Nate-

I hope you get better and return to the field soon. Take your time and don’t hurt yourself further. As for the rest of the team, relax this week, then come back with a vengeance and take control of this division. Lets make all of these sportscasters eat their words and show them who the better team in the AFC is.

I’m the only guy in SD besides Nate with a Kaeding jersey. I’ve had it since ’06. I’ll miss you man! You’re still literally #1. All of the real talent we’ve released has come back to hurt us…Sproles, Turner, Jackson, Williams, Cromartie…Kaeding will kick a FG for some other team to knock us out of the playoffs someday

Are you guys high or what? Nate Kaeding cost the Chargers multiple playoff games by himself. Good riddance you little wimpy troll

If you ever bought a Nate Kaeding jersey you should be beaten to go along with the torment your friends have given you since buying said jersey
