A lot has been said about the Chargers problem but it all starts from the Head Coach. It seems like the coaches set up their game plan and put blinders on and will stick to it come hell or high waters. Football is a game of adjustments that is why the Patriots are so successful, Bellicheck is so good at adjusting when something is not right, that is why the Broncos were able to come back in the second half against us down 24-0, because Fox their head coach saw their problems and adjusted which is something I have not seen in Norv Turner. If they are getting to P. Rivers then run the ball or call screens or 5 yard crossing patterns but do the adjustments. Turner does not have those skills so Mr. Spanos next time, pick a coach who is a winner, somebody who when the offensive line is being overrun would go up to the Offensive Line coach and say "fix that line" and not just act like everything is OK in the sidelines. Pick a proven winner like Jon Gruden, get a defensive coach like Kirby Smart from Alabama who would think outside of the box but please get rid of Norv Turner!!!

We can take all the comments, put them in a bag, shake it up and we will get the need for an offensive line....... All the talk about our running game or lack of,but i have to ask myself who could run with our line?? Remember Turner or Sproles?? We do alot of talking about Rivers being the problem or that he may be over the HILL??? I would take Rivers over most of the QB's in the league but not with our line. There are alot of comments about the Receivers and i know we all know about V. Jackson and you total up the problems with our line not giving adequate time to Rivers to complete the passes, the new receivers not in total touch with our offense and that all adds up to problems. I very strongly feel the bulk of our problems exist with the O/line. Summarize our problems (1)Running game--(2) Rivers--(3) Receivers. IN ALL OF THESE THEY REQUIRE TOTALLY ON OUR LINE?? You can take this to the Coach also, as he can call the best of games but if our line does not or is not capable of functioning properly NO PLAY WILL WORK. Now when it comes to AJ AJ AJ that problem falls totally on Spanos desk. And if we feel the Coach needs to go that also falls on his desk. Take any team and pull out there KEY players and what would you have left. YOU WOULD HAVE THE CHARGERS. KEN

Their is alot of things wrong with the team. For one why don't we use more 2 tight end formations. Rosario can make plays. I think if him and Gates are out running routes that can be a safety and LB nigthmare. Two the need to really think about the fact that Rivers looks like he might be shot. I mean you can deal with the fact that he started to have an interception for every touchdown that he throws. But now he can't even get 200 yds on the Browns defense. It's been to many times this yr he has struggled to get that. If everybody keep saying Norv and Smith. Why hasn't anybody consider Rivers as well. We say he is a top 10 QB. But since last yr it seems as though he has took major step back. Defense is playing better. We getting a better pass rush. We just not having the sacks to show for it. But I know it will come. Smith dropped the ball with the Matthews move. Good player without question. Has tremedous potential. But everybody got to be sick of the fumbles that seem to put the team in a hole every week. Also knowing we needed to replace Sproles. We could have easily gotten Mcluster(KC) or Rodgers(Atl) who both would have fit the Sproles role perfectly. WR play is killing the team Meechem should show more as the season goes on. Vincent Brown should be back sometime in Nov. It's not over yet. Chargers play they best ball in the next coming months.

one more thought ... what other team has ever fired a coach after a 14-2 season?! Ummmm? And we are all wondering why we're in this situation? Ask Fouts and Humphries what they "really think"

left side of o-line bouncing in and out hurts and Clary has never really been solid on the right side. People also forget what a great blocking back Sproles was. We are missing that big time. Meechem and Royal don't seem to go after the ball like Rivers is used to with Jackson, Floyd and even Brown. maybe Tutu will bring a spark. Gates has had a horrible year of the dropsy's so far except the Monday night game and that was about it. The players keep saying they are tight and are the only ones who believe in themselves, but you never really see anyone on the sidelines trying to rally each other when the games start slipping. It all starts at the top.
