First off I am a Charger fan. Lets get that out of the way right off the bat. That being said there are some serious prblems with this team that will not get fixed overnight. Shaun, you are absolutely right. Beating the Chiefs this year is not going to get it done. And lets not forget HOW both of those wins came about. From the baddest denfense in the league. If left up to our beat up and out-traded offense those, too, would be losses. You can’t trade away half of your offensive weapons (Vincent Jackson, MIchael Turner, Jacob Hester to name a few) and expect to be successful. There are only so many times you can go to Gates before the defense knows exactly where you are going. Rivers is brllliant in the pocket this is true, but when he doesn’t have the time to throw and no reciever in sync with him the result is predictable. Does anyone else miss Michael Turner? Ryan matthews is fun to watch and is definately fast, turns on a dime and can hit a hole like no other. That being said, has anyone else noticed that it takes NOTHING to bring the man down? When the situation is tough, crowded and you need a bull to get through a hole smaller than a Mack truck, you better find someone else. Jacob Hester anyone? I know most of you are thinking that I am just a nay-sayer and a fair weather fan. I have been a Chagers fan since the early days of Coryel and Fouts and will be long after the likes of Rivers and Turner are gone from the game. I am just (like most fans) tired of saying “next year”. Now is the time (past due) Mr Smith. Lets get some personnel on the field that Turner, Rivers, Gates and the rest of our chargers can work with and get the Job done. Game Ball? Rivers for his passion and keeping sight on what’s important and never giving up!!

One game doesn’t make a season. The Chiefs are ranked 31st or 32nd in the league, so they are nothing to write home about. This team can’t come from behind and Rivers can’t throw outside the pocket. Last year we all knew that the Oline needed fixing and did it get fixed? NOOOOOO and that is why Rivers gives up the ball, however if he has time in the pocket, his stats are excellent. Doesn’t do any good to wish termination of AJ and Turner, but if we mail a physical letter to Charger park to fix the Oline maybe they will hear us and then maybe not. The game ball should go to our cheerleaders who suffer through humiliating losses yet they keep on smiling. They deserve better as do we the paying fans.

the game ball should have gone to the entire Chiefs team who lined up in a perfect straight line to observe the national anthem, while our Bolts were scattered all over the place. Show some class at the next game and line up as a TEAM and show some respect for our country. Come on man……….after all, it was military appreciation night! Great game otherwise

Philip Rivers deserves the game ball! 90% completed passes and a great performance overall despite the pick. It was good to see our star quarterback bounce back after these tough losses.
