It’s Election Day…Vote Rivers!

Posted by Ricky Henne on November 6, 2012 – 10:51 AM

It’s Election Day, but Chargers fans now have another ballot to vote on besides choosing the next Commander-in-Chief.

Following a standout game in the Bolts 31-13 win over Kansas City, Philip Rivers has been nominated as a finalist for the FedEx Air Player of the Week. Rivers connected on 18 of 20 passes for a completion percentage of 90% and threw for 220 yards and two touchdowns.

Voting is open from now until 3pm on Friday.

Vote for Phyllis Rivers…I don’t think so. One game against a horrible KC team where we only score two offensive TD’s….Comon Man!. Let’s not forget we had two weeks to prepare and Phyllis still throws a pick in the endzone! This team, the head coach and GM are all a joke. Tampa Bay is going to destroy the Chargers. As Junior Seau said when he retired from the chargers….”It’s Over”.

So reading the other negative comments reminds me how spoiled Chargers fans have become due to the level PRs performance during his career. Have they forgotten Ryan Leaf who was a number one draft pick? Even if the Chargers got a high pick, there is still no guarantee. Remember all the hype about Cam Newton? Where are the Panthers this year? Maybe they will eventually get to the Superbowl but it will take time. Even Brees sucked his first couple of years as a Charger. That was the reason Rivers was brought in to begin with. The best way to find out how good Rivers is to trade him and then have to play against him just like has happened with Brees, Sproles, Turner, and VJ this week. Get real people. Rivers is still the best chance the Chargers have to get to the superbowl.

Rivers is done! Time to clean house. AJ and Norv must go!!!!!!!

  6. By Brandon on Nov 6, 2012 | Reply

Drop Norv and get who? Morons

  7. By CJ on Nov 7, 2012 | Reply

Drop Norv and get Sean Payton!!

And those of you who say to get rid of Rivers don’t know what you are talking about. No wonder his play is declining– our GM has gotten rid of all our talent. VJ–gone, Sproles–gone. Those guys were huge contributors to our offense, and they were never replaced

you live in a fantasy if you think that Sean payton, Bill Cower, or Chucky are ever going to coach here that woud be nice but it wont happen the Spanos family does not pay top dollar be happy with your team or cheer for another everyone thinks they are so smart with what we should have on the team we tried to keep Sproles, Brees talked him into leavin VJ sat out a half a year because he was selfish

Jesus, the name of the man is Philip Rivers, its not Revers, another thing, get your facts straight half the league would die to get their hands on Philip, he is that valuable, has he had a bad season?, he sure has, will he get back to his old self? lets just wait and see.

Iam get tired of hearing get rid of rivers. He will get us to the superbowl he just need more talent to go along with him. He was no wideouts maybe we need to bring gates in as the slot guy and leave McMicheals to TE spot it cant be no worse. I beileave that Norv is gone no matter if we make the playoffs but honestly I would get rid of AJ first come on you cant get a deal done with Vincent Jackson we need him.Just my opinion

I had season seats and got tired of this team during last season so I gave them up. This year is a repeat of last. PR pushes the Chargers to keep Norv on the job job because he lets him throw the ball at will and have control. PR lost at least 3 games by himself last year. One by fumbling against KC while lining up for the winning FG. Remember that? They missed the playoffs. Rivers had 27 turnovers, 27! and somehow made the probowl! Whatever. Until this team gets serious I’m done. They are losing alot of fans and respect.

You suck Rivers along with Norv and AJ. I hated the way you disrespected Norv a few games back when you held you hand up in Norv’s face with your palm out indicating to me total disrespect on your part. He’s your damn coach! Maybe if the Spanos family fires Norv and AJ and hire a more traditional coach you’ll respect him more but right now you need to earn my respect along with many other Bolt fans out there. Your commitment and discipline to the team is lacking!

Rivers is find Norv need to let the coaches chach. Norv is a good coach, not a head choach. He freez during games and hold back players. quit calling plays and let the other choaches do their job please!

Lol. Ha ha ha. Seriously, vote for Rivers! All you clowns who keep defending Rivers. Let’s here your excuses this week. Oh wait, I know!! He’ll be back, no wait, he’s our best chance to get to Super Bowl, no wait, remember Ryan Leaf (like that even matters). This is why the Chargers are always average. Your expectations are just like Dean S’, let’s wait and see if it will get better. News Flash, it’s not and not going to until we change. Stop living in the past and drinking the Charger PR coolaid!! This Charger team is done and needs to rebuild.

Hey moron 805 fan, where’s your lightning strike in Tampa??? Lol. Rivers to Pro Bowl. Rivers passes looked as good as your sorry ass posts. Take an english class bro…!!! Rivers is done. I’ll give you Rivers’ post game comments after Denver game “you know, I probably shouldn’t have thrown that pass. I was just trying to create something and just let my 30 int get away from me”. Ya really Phillip!! Here’s Norv “. We can’t win when we turn it over, we played really hard but just didn’t get the results concerning the win. Ya Phillip should have thrown that away”

the bottom line after waiting all these years to get to the super bowl, the chargers are waisting away…drew was released to the saints and went to the super bowl….manning did not want to go to the chargers and has been to the super bowl twice in 5 years….wow….chargers need a big change from the office down to rivers, they all need to go period…

If it’s not Cason and Jammer getting toasted by receivers, its Phillip”Concrete feet” Rivers making very bad off balance throws and super forcing passes instead of just throwing it away or running for his life and sliding!Im sorry but our defense has done enough in our last 4 losses to give us a chance and he just cannot come through in the clutch like the Bradys,Mannings,Rodgers,Ryans of this league. Our O-line is pretty faulty but ultimately,he’s not getting it done when it counts and we really need it.That pick 6 late in the Tampa game was retarded and unbelievable!Everytime i watched the replay i felt like smacking him in the back of his head!Throw it away and@least settle for 3 to tie.Ive lost confidence in him, and every game thats late 4th qtr. and we need a TD,deep in my gut i know we lost!Hes good for a stupid interception…We either need a rock solid O-line like Denver and New England or a QB that can actually move his legs and gain when da pocket collapses cuz this is not working out!#FrustratedChargerFan

It’s a shame our offense…our Chargers defense is heroic!!! please take out Rivers from the field!!
