What happend to mathews becoming an elite running back? And for all the backups to come in to try to make the yards that mathews cant get is pathetic. At times like this I really miss LT.

You guys are way too critical. The guy on the other end of the collision is OUT FOR THE YEAR!!!! And he is the bigger defensive player. Matthews is good when he gets the ball. Asking for Tolbert back? What has Tolbert done this year? Nothing. You can’t just draft one Hall of Fame running back after another.

Mathews is the best. I seen him play in person. Most of you guys are arm chair qb trolls. You think you know the game. When all you know is dish network game plan. He does what the coach tells him to do. They practice that way. Most of you if you got hit a quarter as hard as he gets hit would be on disability ! Mathews,(one t you stupid fucks) is one of the most fluid runners in the nfl. He is in fact underutilized, and under-coached. AJ Smith is an asshole, who cant resign a player to save a life, and our big uglies havent been getting it done in this post-mcneil/diehlman era. So when he goes to another team, and you idiots are scratching your heads wondering why he’s leading the league in rushing, im gonna be hunting down AJ.

Matthews has a lot to prove. He was thrown into the Spot Light of a departing, Future Hall of Fame Player LT. He comes in with high expectations from fans and a horrible Offensive Line. Norv is in panic mode because his job is at risk. He took a 14-2 team under Marty and has turned them into a drop to your knees and pray in Nov and Dec team. Even AJ who had such confidence in his “yes Sir” coach is turning his back on him with the “with another losing season, we will have to take the team in another direction” comment. A fan is a fan, win or lose. Look at the Raiders, Browns, or Lions fans. All support losing teams. So true fans, sit in the seats, shout at the top of your lungs, and just keep supporting your special NFL team. But…. Norv and AJ might really have to go. And please throw English in that group. I’d rather have Merriman back and now we can get him for a discounted rate.

That was a wicked shot. Sad to see anyone hurt but it shows Matthew’s toughness that he went heads up with a linebacker and came away walking when the other guy didn’t. Heal up sir! We need all our weapons!

You guys are morons. Mathews is the most dynamic player on offense but Norv COMPLETELY underuses him. I guarantee if Norv gave him 20 carries a game we would rarely lose. But Norv keeps doing the same thing, with the same results and that’s why he will be fired.
