Barnes Returns to Practice
Posted by on November 15, 2012 – 3:58 PM
Antwan Barnes missed last week’s game in Tampa Bay with a strained hamstring. The good news is that he returned to practice today in a limited fashion and feels he has a strong chance to play on Sunday.
Here’s what he had to say.
“I felt excellent today. I still have a bit more work to do, but I feel pretty good. It’s up to the coaches to decide if I’m good enough to go on Sunday, but I feel like I did well today. I’m going to leave it in their hands. I’ve had injuries like this numerous times, and this is the earliest I’ve ever come back from it. So I feel good.”

Mr. Barnes im glad you’re back.In my heart i know that this defense is tough and talented.I feel its done enough to give us a chance in the last 4 losses but obviously, as many observers have witnessed,The O just cant pull it off in the clutch when we really need it.I really hope that this is the game where our pass rush is fierce and relentless and we can go into Denver and show the critics were not dead yet.Silence them and the crowd there and get this Mid season momentum going.I hope you read this and if you do,please let the front 7 know that there are die-hards there with them pulling for them to harrass Peyton..Hurries,knockdowns,sacks,batted balls..Lets go “D”!!!
Get it done! The die-hards hearts are with you…Give us some relief. These losses are painful.. BOLT UP!!!

Mr. Barnes, I emailed you last season on how you planned on stepping up as a leader for the defense, and I think you have definitely shown your impact off the edge! You give us great speed and I was pleased last week against the ravens you made a big play too and were playing well! Keep it up !
