Sadly I agree Zachster… and yea that explanation of picking offensive plays sooner makes lots of sense. It helps me to understand the O-line much more. Still AJ has been trying to compensate for not picking offensive lineman early in the draft by recruiting free agent lineman. and there’s reasons why they are free agents. they are like used cars. beat up a little bit. this is why Gaither is always hurt. We need a new GM this much I am sure of. One that will draft the proper protection for Rivers. I love Rivers. I’d like to see SD win a championship too in my lifetime. I’m only 35 but by this time… I’m getting worried!!

Well I hope you watched the game “J”. If you don’t understand the O Line Play by now you’ll never get the game. It really is a team sport. Yes this ole guy played Semi Pro back in the early 80′s. Gaither was our hope on the blind side, and you see what happens on the left side when he’s not playing. The rightside tackle can’t move fast enough and most always ends up on his heels, even when he’s fast enough to react to the outside pass rush he’s always pushed back. The Bolts should learn to call offensive plays much earlier so they can use the 25 second clock to make adjustments to defensive lineups. But yet AGAIN, whats the point without STRONG O line play from the big guys up front. We are now out of time in my eyes, as we also need to hope for Denver to also lose a game or two. It’a always best to depend on our own play VS other division teams to lose.

Kenny V Cromartie really? Come on he is a joke Florence is someone we should have kept. Rivers is making poor decisions it may be because he has to think under duress but lets call it like it is he cant scramble he is not clutch in then 4th with a chance to win, kc last year saints broncos this year. he had one step to go out of bounds last week and threw the dagger in our own back to tampa defender. Norv aj the line nobody to blame but rivers.

Norv Shoulders all the blame when it isn’t his fault and so does Rivers at times. Norv has a great football mind, he really does! It’s not his fault his players find the absolute CRAZIEST ways to lose!! Rivers has PLENTY of football left in him and he’s and AMAZING passer, although not the most mobile. But is why we need to focus on that O-line.not another running back, not another wide receiver. If we only seriously focused on that O-line and protecting Phillip these last few years we’d sadly be fine right now. I watch every Charger post game interviews, Phillip and Norv are both humble and they have great football minds. We don’t need another coach.

AGAIN… it’s all on the Offensive Line Play. Rivers was hired for his arm, NOT his scrambling skills. bETTER ol ALSO MEANS BETTER AT OPENING “HOLES” FOR rb’S. The OL is what has broken down over time. Defense, we need better pass rushing ability. I would put the blame on AJ as the owner of the “tool shed”. The Coashing staff can only work with the tools thay have. I still would love to see the Bolts m ake and win the big show before I kick the ole bucket. OLD bolt fan from eastern PA.
TEAM.. don’t hand Denver the game, play with all your heart for 60 minutes. yes all 60 minutes are required.

If they win, they are only 1 game out, and in the thick of the Wildcard, and divisional spot.
If they lose, it all ends in Denver!!
