Reyes Blog: Thanksgiving and Sacks

First off, I hope you all had a happy Thanksgiving.
For the holiday, I had a bunch of people over my apartment and everyone brought over a dish. I made my mom’s macaroni casserole. I never made it before so I was on the phone with her for like hours trying to figure it out, but it came out well. We all had a good time.
Even though we lost on Sunday and I’m disappointed about that, it felt great to get the first sacks of my career. I’ve been working hard and didn’t know when it was going to happen and that was frustrating, but I had the opportunity on those plays to take advantage and they worked out for me. It was pretty cool to get the first ones against someone like Peyton Manning too. It really didn’t matter who it was against, but to do it against a player like that, one of the best quarterbacks ever, it was pretty cool.
Well that’s about it. Hopefully we can turn it around for you guys starting on Sunday against Baltimore. We’re definitely not where we want to be, but we understand the task we have at hand. It’s one game at a time and we’re preparing to get a victory this Sunday against the Ravens.

Kendall, just droppin in to say congrats on the sacks and keep it up! I remember going to Titan games and seeing you play on tv each week is just crazy!! Were all rootin for ya back home!!

We seem to get rid of players that go on to be super on other teams but our coaching staff and GM cant recognize talent when it shows up on their TV as well as the field. I dont want to say fire the GM but I wish he would be the bigger man and admit failure to achieve the objectives on the team and resign. He fires a coach 14-2 and he dismantles the team little bit my little bit and he is allowed to stay. Spanos wake up man, if not going to smell the coffee dump it in your lap so you brain wakes up
and do what needs to be done….
