After reading all the responses to the win, i must say I have been following the chargers since aug 1964 when i took in my first professial game and have been hooked ever since. I am a diehard charger fan and yes i am dissappointed with the way the season has been played out. I guess i am just use to winning some and losing some But i must say from all lthe Quarterbacks i have watched thru out the years Rivers is the best one we have had so far. Rivers needs a O line that will give him time to search out his recievers and throw to them. As you saw in he Pittsburg game if given time he can produce a win. Yes i can see AJ Smith being released from his contract at end of season but i think Norv and Rivers should stay. Come on Chargers let's go out with a big bang to end the season. GO Chargersssssssssssssssss

too many holes this year- DB- jammer is great in box (thinking safety to complement EW) but is getting burnt down field Caison is great coverage 4 yards past where the first down is, wright and gilhcrist have reaally sparkled. LB's have done a stand up job and d-line has looked really good especially liguet- hey maybe he can teach english something. but far and away the biggest hole (no it wasn't VJ) was losing mcneil and deilman. never got addressed in the off season seriously and it may cost Rivers a couple years at the end of his career if it doesn't get addressed this off season. No charger team in their history ever went any where without a great or very good o-line. Norv got dealt a stacked hand and aj knows it.

Hey Xfan. Just what on earth to you think a football team is out there to do? Those guiys are paid to go out there every week and win games!! Game 1 or Garme 16. Any coach that wants his team to lay down at ANY time of the season should be run out of town and quick. I too would be an X FAN if Norv pulled such a stunt. Draft? How about concentraiting on developing the talent that we have? It is easy to see why you are an X fan. Let me guess.............Raider Fan? Go Chargers and lets go out with a bang. Spoilers or not.

Norv has some pretty brilliant offensive schemes here and there. However, that being said.. the Chargers need a Head coach that disciplines the team. Discipline is what keeps you from giving up 5 fourth quarter leads. If we could have had Norv as an offensive coordinator, and someone like Jon Gruden as the Head coach, we’d be a pretty damn good football team. But That can’t happen now. It’s unfortunate, but Norv still needs to go.

Chris Miller and arose4yu, how can you forget Norv's first year when he took the Chargers to the AFC Championships....the famous game against the undefeated Pats in New England where LT sat like an immature child on the sidelines with his visor down because he was knocked out with an injury while Rivers valiantly tried to play with a torn ACL. Granted LT was frustrated because of the injury, but some argue that was the game that transferred the team leadership from LT to Rivers,

By the way Marty was a great regular season coach, but sadly he couldn't win a playoff game to save his life. It doesn't matter if it was the Browns, Chiefs, or Chargers. His playoff record was 5 - 13 (Norv won 4 just with the Chargers) That is why the NFL Network ranked Marty as the best coach who could never win the big one.
