Chargers Players’ Super Bowl Tweets

Posted by Jordan Beane on February 4, 2013 – 11:09 AM

According to Trendrr TV there were 47.7 million social media posts during Sunday’s Super Bowl. That number was up from 17 million in 2012 and just three million in 2011. Among those many Facebook posts and tweets, Chargers players were adding their own voices to the national conversation. Let’s see what they had to say.

Most Footballese – Marcus Gilchrist

The Chargers cornerback tweeted some advice to fellow corner Carlos Rogers following the Ravens first touchdown.

Most School Pride – Richard Goodman

FSU class of 2010’s Goodman is proud of fellow Seminole, and Ravens wide receiver, Anquan Boldin.

Most Excited for the new Star Trek Movie – Kevin Haslam

Seems like the offensive tackle is looking forward to May 17th, the date the movie is released.

Favorite Super Bowl Commercial – Takeo Spikes

Spikes was a big fan of this spot.

Best MVP vote – Richard Goodman

I’m sure the majority of the non-Raven fan population would agree with that.

Best Post Game Tweets – Le’Ron McClain and Antonio Garay

And as left tackle Michael Harris retweeted, only 213 days until the opening kickoff of the 2013 season.
