Rivers, Mathews Dominant Vs.Broncos

Posted by Ricky Henne on October 11, 2012 – 10:39 AM

The good news for the Chargers is that two their most valuable offensive players, Philip Rivers and Ryan Mathews, have been historically dominant against the Denver Broncos.

Rivers has a 9-3 record versus the Broncos, including 20 TDs, seven ints and a career passer rating of 102.7.  He has an overall record of 40-8 in games in which he has a passer rating of 100.0 or higher.  Rivers is 28-10 as a starter versus the AFC West.

Meanwhile, Mathews has rushed for more than 120 yards in his last three outings versus the Broncos (120, 125, and 137 yards).

So who do you think will have the bigger game vs. Denver, Rivers or Mathews?  Let us know in the comments below.
