And the Game Ball Goes to….
Posted by on December 9, 2012 – 12:53 PMAfter a resounding 34-24 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers, Coach Norv Turner decided his game ball would go to Reggie Wells and Kevin Haslam.
Haslam took over for Jeromey Clary in last week’s game and started at the left tackle position. Wells was signed just earlier this week and started at right tackle, this being his first game of 2012 and first start since 2010. Haslam on the other hand was starting for the first time in his career.
Haslam and Wells were called upon at the 11th hour to fill voids of an ailing Chargers offensive line and they did just that.
Another game ball was dished out in the locker room, but this one was given by Chairman of the Board and President Dean Spanos to Coach Turner as a result of securing the franchise’s first win in Pittsburgh, as well as scoring the most points against them. The team was ecstatic to see their Coach be honored.
